The Lysander

This was a small hotel hotel. Brilliant location for a visit to the outdoor theatre which is what we had come down to Scarborough for. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very nice too.

The hotel is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Loads of choice for breakfast which is served in a very nice room by the reception. It's near Peasholm Park, Open Air Theatre, buses run from the end of the road every 15 minutes to the South Bay along the sea front. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great location for North Bay and Open Air Theatre, 5 mins away. Absolutely brilliant hosts, so helpful and friendly and even allowed early check-in as room was ready, nice touch. Room was great, we both found it comfortable, clean, spacious and excellent bathroom. Great sea view too, made better by gorgeous weather. Breakfast was just right, set's up nicely for the day and loads of choices. We will certainly return as we do visit Scarbados regularly and definitely will stop here. All in all, great weekend made better with a great place to stay.
