Beansheaf Hotel

My Wife and I, and an elderly relative, stayed in this little Gem of a find in August 2022. A lovely little Hotel with extremely friendly and welcoming Staff, particularly Colin, Joanne and Andrew. We had very nice evening meals during our stay especially the Straight-from-the-oven Bread Rolls with our Soup Starters. Although the decor was slightly dated both inside and out, I would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a really lovely stay at The Beansheaf. A very friendly welcome and efficient check in. Our room was modern and well equipped and spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed and great shower. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, a good choice on both the menu and specials board and the food was very good. Breakfast the next morning was also good. Service at The Beansheaf is excellent and everyone was friendly and nice to chat to. Although it is on the main road the double glazing meant that we had a peaceful night's sleep. Would recommend.

Myself & 2 friends stayed at the Beansheaf after spending the day at the Thornton Le Dale show. We had a great stay. I had a dog friendly room. It was very clean and fresh. We had a meal in the bar area because I could have my dog with me. The staff were very friendly and “fun” Our evening meals were great with very fresh vegetables. We all slept well. Despite the hotel being at the side of a busy road we heard no noise. The breakfast the next morning was cooked to perfection. Thanks to everyone who worked there, you made our stay extremely enjoyable.
