Black Swan

Stayed for four nights, when we arrived we were advised to use the hard standing pitches as weather not great. We took two dogs with us and they loved it too. Great Dog walks from the site. Facility’s were very good good showers etc and they weren’t just clean they smelt clean. Just went to the pub once and found a good selection of cask ales sat outside in the beer garden admiring the views. Didn’t try the food but other campers were very impressed with the quality. We will definitely be going back

The site is well maintained with fab views over North Yorkshire countryside. When we checked in we were advised to use a hard standing pitch as it had been raining heavily otherwise they might need to tow us off a grass pitch, very welcome advice! Shower/toilet block was well lit, clean and tidy. We ate twice in the pub/restaurant on site. Highly recommend the beer battered fish and chips, it was lush! Service was great, staff were very friendly, prompt and helpful. Recommend you book table in advance as it was very busy and I can understand why from the dishes we ate. Definitely one on our list to revisit!

Visited in our campervan for one night ...wish we had done two nights now ....campsite has everything you could want ...the pub food is excellent and the team that work here are first class ....can't wait to visit again ..Will definitely be back
