The Moorhouse

We stayed in the Ladywell room for one night last night. What a lovely place! Maggie was so welcoming. We stayed for only one night due to attending a wedding in the area. Wish we could have stayed longer. Such a tranquil spot, lovely spacious room in a fabulous building. Spotlessly clean. Such a charming place.

What a gem of a place. So peaceful. Rooms very comfortable and very clean, nice touches in bathroom, lovely toiletries. Maggie was really friendly, and the tea and cake very nice. Lovely breakfast, will definitely come back.

Maggie is a lovely host and the guesthouse is a real gem. Everything well organised and excellent quality - from the Molten Brown in the bathrooms to the welcoming cake/drink and the splendid breakfast. It felt special to be at the Moorhouse. I hope Maggie and Bill can keep it up. There is an adjoining 4 bed cottage for rent too. The remote location makes this a great place to come and relax.
