Campanile Runcorn

Reading the views online I was fully prepared to be a little disappointed. Firstly greeted by the most joyful and smiley receptionist who couldn't be more helpful. The hotel is more styled on an American motel with the rooms separate to the reception. Walking into our room, it was to be expected dated but cleaned to a high standard. The bed was comfy and a fan was provided as it was extremely hot weather. In the room we had tea and coffee facilities with a kettle and a hairdryer. There was a bar with good deals and food too. Breakfast can be provided but we didn't have that. If your looking for a place to stay that's cheap cheerful and clean that the Runmere is that. I will be definitely using the hotel again for my trips

The hotel rooms are a bit dated but not a problem the bed was very comfy I slept really well and the shower was great. The staff at the hotel were all very friendly and helpful I ate there two night and the food was great and a great price too for a hotel as was the beer. I’d definitely stay here again if in the area

I stayed at the Runmere twice ,once at the end of April and again at the beginning of May.On both occasions I found the hotel to be very clean, I saw the staff working hard to achieve this.The staff also went out of their way for me as I'm a fussy eater and like all of my food well done,when I asked for this the food was cooked to my liking without a problem.I know that the Runmere is a budget hotel but taking location, price , and the staff friendliness I would have no problem staying there again and recommending this hotel to others...John + Karen Greer
