Hatters Hostel

Paid £138 for a double room and breakfast, got told told kitchen was closed when got there but no refund for breakfast. Even worse no heating or hot water didn't get a heater until 8am next morning. Spoke with receptionist tara was told I'd be getting a refund, will not pick up the phone to me this was on the 9th of February its the 25th now still no answer. Stay away horrible customer service would rather stay on the streets

Had a wonderful stay at the Selina hostel in early February 2022. All staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The room were clean and comfy with nice beds and bathrooms. A particular mention to the breakfast service and Denise who was wonderfully helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Really enjoyed my stay and the city and would happily return.

Booked 2-3 weeks in advance 2 nights at the end of July / beg. of August. I checked their website before booking and they didn't display any measures following Covid-19. When I turned up, the place was closed, the telephone line not answering (or even closed ?), I emailed them and no response. Fortunately it was a "cheap" booking but i'm really disappointed in the "no-show" attitude. Absolutely not recommend.
