The Liner Hotel Liverpool

The location of the hotel was good the fact that there is free parking is a bonus. The double deluxe room was fairly small. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were average. There were not many places to charge devices for two people which was frustrating. The room overlooked the train station but we had to have the windows open as there was no air conditioning and use the large fan provided which meant we had lots of noise. The bathroom did not have an extractor which meant when you had a shower there was no extraction of heat or steam. I did not use the restaurant or bar as there were plenty of places to go nearby. I appreciate that the hotel was themed around an old ship but the corridors very dark . If you like a modern hotel with a light and airy feel this is not for you

Great location, friendly staff but definitely needs air conditioning. Windows only open a few inches and our room was like a green house/glass house. Breakfast options slightly limited.

Very disappointed, was confident this would be a good hotel. Checked in late, was given my key (eventually) went to room and walked into an oven! The heat was unreal. It had been very warm that day but now it was 11.30 pm and quite cool outside. There is a window that only partially opened and there was zero coolness coming in. The hotel doesn’t have AC in rooms. I asked at reception for a fan to be told they had none and no alternative rooms. Was offered water and ice, which I then enquired what he expected me to do with he couldn’t answer. I checked out immediately, there was no way anyone could stay in that room.
