Dun Cow Inn

Great food and fantastic staff. But the bedrooms are desperately in need of a refurb.

I am writing this only as a recent visitor.... Lovely, pub, great warm feel, mood, service and atmosphere. that said, as a Vegan it would be remiss of me to say that this is a place where you cannot eat. The one option on the otherwise extensive menu is a beyond meat (meat flavoured) burger. I am not trying to knock a pub that does not serve me what i want or need, just simply saying you cannot eat there as someone who does not want meat, cheese, egg, butter, milk, or things that mimic that.

Started off with a slight panic as our booking hadn’t been placed in the diary. My wife booked it weeks ago but when we arrived there was no record of it. However, the staff were really understanding and very accommodating and managed to get the four of us a table. We went for Sunday lunch and the food was delicious. I had the lamb which was delicious and everyone else had beef which they all said was beautiful. The service was second to none with very attentive staff. This was our first visit but definitely won’t be our last.
