Orillia House

Lovely quaint little b&b on the outskirts of york ,stayed in double room on the top floor ,which actually wa more than room it was a little self contained apartment fully kitted out in everything you could possibly need for at least a weeks stay ,the vies out the roof windows were stunning ,a beautiful church surrounded by the morning mist with the sun just breaking was the perfect photo opportunity if only we had our camera ,the only downfall on this room was not the B&B but the people staying in the room next door who had not conscious about the noise they made when coming home from a night on the town .a sound proofed door as it was an adjoining room would make this place ideal

Orillia House is in a beautiful location and close to all the tourist spots we needed for York and Yorkshire areas nearby like Knaresborough and Harrogate. The property was well decorated, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful and welcome. Gary was the perfect host. Next time we travel we will try their lovely cottages. Paul Davies

The guest house looked lovely from the outside but the inside is not impressive. The room was ok but the bed not comfortable. There was no hair dryer in the room but we found one on the first floor landing. One mirror in the bathroom. No cupboard to hang anything just a clothes rail. At £108 for a family room this was overpriced and not to be recommended.
