The Lamb and Lion

A bit of a let down, we ordered chicken cabbage and potatoes, unfortunately it wasn't great the cabbage was tasteless as was the chicken fight to get it off the bone , Greek salad was ok basically tomatoes and feta cheese. Staff very nice 👌

Its just a 3. Nothing more. A pub with some rooms, definitely not a hotel..rooms are small. The bathrooms dated and a bit scruffy, with a singular jet of water as a shower. Loud on the road side, woke up by glass collecting early hours of the morning ,which should have been warned about, I jumped out of my skin! Every surface had paint chips or scratches as did most of the floor. Bed was so soft you rolled out of it. Location was good. Staff we never saw, apart from on departure and didn't even ask how are stay was. Would we stay again. Afraid not.

Excellent offer on a Monday evening. A burger and a pint for £14. Good filling food. Shame about the greasy tables.
