Whenever we are in the area, we always book at the Oakwheel for accommodation and food. This year, in June, we stayed for two nights, could not fault the room or the amenities. Guest are made to feel valued and welcome. In late August, we just came for a meal, again, the welcome was warm and you feel valued. The service was efficient and prompt The food was excellent, we have never had a bad meal here. Good value for money too! Special mention to Lewis, who was so helpful, serving us promptly, always with a word and a smile. He could not have been more helpful. Thank you. Will see you all next year.

As we were staying nearby, we decided to give The Oakwheel a try. The staff were friendly and attentive and we were impressed with the quality of the food. The steak pies in particular were really good. It proved to be a most enjoyable visit.
