The Granary at Fawsley

We had our wedding at the Granary back on the 8th of Novemeber and we had the most beautiful day. From the planning all the way through to the day. Nothing was too much and everything we pictured come to light. The rooms and the getting ready areas were perfect for us all. The food is INCREDIBLE and we would love nothing more than to return close to our anniversary. Thank you so much to the Granary team - a truly unforgettable time! My husband and I got married here early October and it was just perfect. From the very first wedding fayre, Kaci - venue coordinator, was incredibly welcoming, informative and took us seriously (something we've found to be a hurdle with other venues, I can only assume because we were quite young when we first enquired two plus years ago). Throughout the entire two years, Kaci was nothing short of fantastic. She answered my many emails efficiently and thoroughly, providing constant reassurance. No task was too much hassle for her. On the actual wedding day she was super attentive and did everything to ensure my we had the perfect day. The grounds and all the rooms were immaculate. Everything was stocked, fresh and clean. It was super peaceful. My husband and I even decided to stay an extra evening to soak everything in. A cooked breakfast was provided on all 3 mornings we were there for and it was very lovely. The staff came in specifically for us, which we were super grateful for. Everything about our experience at the Granary was just exquisite, but that special mention does have to go to the service provided by Kaci (and the team) for enabling my to have a flawless bridal experience over the last few years. Thank you.

Writing as parents who don't live anywhere near the venue, it wasn't easy to be involved in the choice, but The Granary was the first and only wedding venue the happy couple looked at, because they just loved it at once. We weren't disappointed! They felt that Kaci, their dedicated coordinator throughout the planning and all through the big day, really got their vision from the start, giving them huge reassurance. The relationship they developed with her kept them calm on the day because they trusted her experience and knew she was on hand to sort any issues. Kaci was a literal superwoman, dealing with everything unobtrusively, from the Registrar, running order and ceremony music, moving the drinks reception inside when the weather turned, to organising the stair lift for elderly guests and extra toilet rolls for the bedrooms! Nothing was a problem, we never felt rushed at any point and the staff all seemed to enjoy their work. Over 20 months of wedding planning, there was regular email contact, planned meetings with Kaci, an invite to a 'date night' food tasting event with other couples who had bookings, and as parents we loved being able to come to an open day to get a feel for the venue. There was plenty of parking and outside space for guests to roam or sit if they chose. We used all the bedrooms for close family to stay on the big day, and having exclusive use of the venue for the whole weekend really extended the celebration time. It was fantastic having 3 hours to finalise the venue set-up on Friday, allowing the wedding party to just concentrate on getting ready on Saturday morning. The bedrooms were super comfy and the breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday were great too. Given all of these extra features, the wedding package felt like great value for money, and little touches like the newlyweds receiving a personalised candle from The Granary with their special date on after the wedding really meant a lot. At no point did the bride and groom feel pressured to have any of the additional extras on offer (although they did choose some), but they were given lots of ideas and options, and really felt free to personalise their day. They did use a number of The Granary's regular suppliers, all of whom were fantastic - we had so many positive comments about the food on the day from guests, as well as the general lovely atmosphere of the venue. We went non-traditional with barbecue platters at lunch and fajitas for evening guests. The Granary were very accommodating to outside suppliers such as the photographer, make up artist and band. Given the changeable weather on the day we were really glad not to be in a marquee - it genuinely would have been blown down in the evening! - but in a comfortable, secure, solid building for both ceremony and reception. We couldn't be happier with how it all went and can't wait to see the photos. (The photos used here are from pre-wedding visits, not the actual day)
