Beautiful spot out in the country - great place to stop for hiking Hadrian's Wall Path. My son and I hiked it last month and stayed here. Proprietress Tracey is wonderful - most hospitable, excellent food (great leek casserole), and full of good advice. The night we stayed there, another guest suffered a heart attack from hiking the Wall. Tracey took it all in stride - arranged the ambulance, juggled the logistics, helped the man get to Newcastle for emergency surgery. After all that, she was happy to let us borrow her clothesline to wash out hiking clothes for the next day. She treated us like family.

A beautiful farmhouse B&B and a welcome stop after a long walk. Tracey gave us the warmest of welcomes, and cooked us a lovely 3 course meal in the evening . Nothing was too much trouble, a fantastic breakfast and packed lunch the following day! Mossie giving us a lift to the start of the walk in the morning and taking me to the next town, Thank you so much we will definitely visit again!

Myself and my friend has such a fantastic stay at this beautiful B and B. Tracey and Mossie went literally out of their way to help us, picking one of us up when we couldn't reach pick up point in time and then supporting us further the next day. They are so kind, welcoming and made us feel very at home. Their bed and breakfast is so comfortable with beautiful views and fantastic food.
