The Three Wheat Heads

Stayed with 2 dogs for one night bed and breakfast and also had evening meal. Dogs welcome in bar area. Good food and large breakfast. There is a nice little circular walk taking you along the river side. Great views from room.

Just spent a week at this super pub. Had a wonderful time. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom excellent. The breakfasts were amazing. I had dinner every evening, the meals were all delicious. The menu is extensive and interesting. The staff were all brilliant, helpful, friendly and so good to my dog. I especially liked the bar as there was no television and people talked to each other. Very refreshing. Fabulous atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and return. Also in a great spot for walking.

We visited a few times whilst staying in the village. We had a Sunday dinner which was fantastic (gravy to die for) and another visit we had the Cumberland sausage and mash. Both times food was lovely and customer service was really good We were made to feel very welcome and it was a relaxed atmosphere. Could do with a few more IPA’s but other than that, would t hesitate to visit is ever in the area again.
