DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nottingham - Gateway

I often stay here, and always have a good expereince: This time's one-night stay in September was no different. A very nice room, and delicious breakfast. Recommended.

Stayed for 3 nights to attend a wedding. Great location close to a bus stop and the tram. So much parking and felt very secure. Room was a bit dated with dark red wallpaper but did what we needed it to do. Bathroom was okay, the tap and shower had a bit of a mind of its own and was a little grubby round the edges. Bed was a little lumpy but not too bad for a few nights. We had a problem with the safe not locking but was fixed swiftly. Breakfast was really good lots of variety. For the price and location we would stay again.

Fantastic Stay! We will be back! Very family friendly and focused, welcoming was fab! Room was lovely.. meal in the bar was lush! And the breakfast was probably the biggest selection we have seen in a hotel.. with a seperate little children’s section too! Warm cookies and a children’s goodie box was given on arrival! Food to feed the geese and ducks was available cans and they came and ate out of our young sons hand so gently .. hotel decor was so lovely.. Staff were welcoming but a big shout out goes to Michael on the reception desk.. customer service at its finest .. What a fab stay!
