We had another amazing stay at this fabulous B&B. This time instead of staying in one of the rooms as we usually do we stayed in Granary Cottage a beautiful one bed cottage. The place was absolutely spotless, lovely toiletries in the bathroom, comfy bed and the kitchen was really well equipped. It was also lovely to arrive and have milk, juice and tea and coffee all there. They are completely dog friendly and there are walks from outside your door into the lovely countryside and by the river. Kingfisher barn is down a lovely quiet lane so it's incredibly peaceful and yet only a 5 min walk into the centre of Abingdon with all it's restaurants and bars. It's a really pretty town to visit. It was also really reasonable for what we got. We'll definitely be heading back in the near future.

Stayed here for 1 night. Location is perfect and the setting is beautiful, with the properties around a lovely courtyard. Check in was so easy (got to love a self check in). Room was very nice with tea / coffee making and a huge bathroom with a great full length mirror. The room was very hot at night and unable to open any window. Although a heated towel rail is lovely in the winter I don’t think it needs to be on in April and no way to turn it off. Breakfast was poor - cereal, croissants and bread were about the only options - a couple of people wanted eggs but none available !! Am sure someone could have popped to the shops the day before and got some. Would be good to have some cold meat / cheese to add a bit of variety. The breakfast cabin was full when we had breakfast only 5 tables - but more rooms than available tables - nice to eat outside if it’s sunny but unsure where you would eat if it was raining. Would stay again but breakfast needs some improvement .

Yet again we had a really lovely, comfy stay in Kingfisher Barns. The room was clean, amazing shower and comfortable bed. We took our dog with us and they had provided a dog bed and dog towels which were really handy after our muddy walks! Lovely breakfast cabin, great breakfast and love that you can use this if you want to cook something in the evening. Really friendly owners, lovely welcome tray, beautifully kept gardens. We will definitely be going back.
