The Brasenose Arms

Long wait for food which was not as expected and described. Plastic wrapper on burger and no blue cheese on Mac and cheese as ordered.

Having previously had a great lunch from the bar menu we decided to book for supper and test out the a la carte. The dishes were disappointing and expensive. Stick to the bar menu-I’m sure the scampi and chips would be great and much better value.

Had a lovely stay. Rooms were very clean and comfortable with everything needed for a lovely stay. The carpark is small, but there is limited street parking. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice - a great way to start the day.
