Very disappointed. Twin room with my Daughter for 2 nights. Within 10 minutes we were looking for somewhere else but everywhere fully booked. The room was semi clean, but dusty. Tv in a terrible position in the room, unable to watch it. Shower room was very tired with rust, grimy tile grout and cobwebs. No opening window just a long window/fan light with 2 corded fans that were too noisy to keep on so ventilation wasn't possible. The room smelt terrible, like old cigarette smoke and musty carpet. Mattresses very lumpy. It was quite unpleasant and wish I'd read more reviews. For the price being charged I would expect at least a clean well ventilated room.

Booked the Lismore Hotel in Banbury through Agoda. Hotel photos etc are a far cry from the actual Hotel. Worst Hotel I've ever stayed in. TV falling off the wall and remote not working. No bedside table, little bar fridge was ineffective as great big block of ice filling half of the space and not cooling anything. Carpet was dirty and cleanliness not good.

I'd always wanted to stay in the English equivalent of the Bates Motel in the movie 'Psycho', and this is it! Ghastly place. Badly run, shoddy and shabby. The walls were paper thin and the plumbing was desperately in need of updating. The photos were misleading to say the least. Upon checking out both of the doors to reception were locked so we had to leave the key in the letterbox! They then rang me to find put where the key was. Laughably poor management of a hotel.
