Horse and Jockey

My partner and I have just eaten a lovely roast dinner at the Horse and jockey. Let me tell you all it was wonderful. We were very well looked after and the food was delicious. We would definitely go back again. Thank you for your hospitality Jacki, and a chefs kiss to the cook.

Nice pub BUT staff ok but manager very sour faced walked passed us on many occasions I’m sure she was sucking a lemon it took 15 min to get a drink I could understand if it was busy but it wasn’t staff was standing around chatting we drank up and left was going to eat there but if drinks took that long I dread to think how long food would take to order will try again next year as we came last year and stayed the weekend there was a lovely family very welcoming and room was beautiful the price this year was a no no for us

After hearing lots of lovely feedback about the food we went and had a roast dinner and it was absolutely delicious fresh veg the best roast potatoes I have had in a long time and the Gammon was beautifully cooked and very tasty and really lovely service nothing was too much trouble will definitely be coming back very soon to try something else
