Oxford Belfry

On the whole my wife and enjoyed the stay. We had a small problem with the first room we were offered , which was dealt with quickly and professionally by the receptionist. Food was good quality and well prepared. What let you down slightly was the service at bar only one member of staff on causing eight people waiting to be served. We had a drink on your lovely conservatory but all the tables hadn't been cleared from the function earlier in the day, same with the tables in the courtyard. If those to points could be looked into, our stay would have been excellent .

I had the most amazing massage with Brenda. Genuinely one of the best massages I have ever had! She was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I honestly cannot praise her enough. An absolutely fabulous experience. I will definitely be back .!

I really like the hotel but was a little pissed off when the woman at the front desk told me I owed for 1 room. I always book 2 rooms for me and my son as I have to take him to Oxford university hospital for treatment the following day. On booked out the front desk girl told me I owed for 1 room. I went to my car and produced the 2 separate booking confirmation receipts which I had printed off the day before to claim my expenses. Even when I showed this to the desk girl I got the impression you didn't believe me. She asked he she could keep them to which I said no. Then she went to photocopy them and take pictures on her phone. I then asked if she could hurry up as we had a appointment at the hospital. She was very miserable and needs to be more pleasant and happy with customers , perhaps a training course would be advisable. I really felt like she didn't believe me, even though I dropped the proof on her lap. Martyn
