The Oxfordshire Golf Hotel and Spa

Not great. Just arrived. Room looks nothing like the pictures online. It’s incredibly dated and not pleasant. Didn’t request an accessible room but have been given one which is really not nice at all. Not a nice place to stay. Asked to switch rooms but nothing available, yet the place is dead with nobody around. Wouldn’t book again to be honest.

Had a really lovely time here, especially breakfast which was great. Big thanks to Archie who was brilliant, extremely helpful and very polite!

Really disappointing experience at Oxfordshire Golf Hotel & Spa. For a 4-star hotel, the standard of service and cleanliness was nowhere near what we expected. Throughout our stay, there was no drinking water provided in the room, and we even had to ask for toilet roll, which is not what you would expect from a hotel of this rating. We also used the spa, which was another major disappointment. There was visible mould around the side of the swimming pool, and the hot tub was freezing cold, making it completely unusable. We then had afternoon tea, which unfortunately was awful. The sandwiches were soggy and tasted as though they had been sitting in the fridge for some time. To make matters worse, the area and service did not feel clean or well maintained. Overall, this was nowhere near the standard we expected from a 4-star hotel. There were issues with the room, spa and afternoon tea, and unfortunately we would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.
