Oxford Spires Four Pillars Hotel

I seldom write reviews but in this case I was totally bowled over by the exemplary service I received from the team at voco Hotel - they went above and beyond. I arrived late & frazzled with no reservation on a busy Friday night ( after 21.00 ) after a shambles with another booking provider that let us down last minute - the front desk team of Lily and Matham swung into action and secured us an inter-leading room, an additional fridge to store our bought food we expected to use at the other booking, and a hot meal as last order had just gone into the restaurant. I was so relieved as I had 2 exhausted kids with me. The "cherry on the cake" was that the steak was delicious, the room luxurious, and spotless and I received a follow up call from Lily to ensure we were all taken care of. We slept incredibly well and immediately called to extend our stay & enjoy all that Oxford has to offer. Lily and Matham you are a credit to your hotel and I so appreciate your kindness, professionalism and genuine hospitality - we will be back !

Lovely hotel, fabulous staff, great room, only rating one below because spa decor could do with a brush up but I’d definitely stay again. Great walk into town along the river.

I recently stayed at Voco Oxford Spires Hotel on a tour with One Traveller. The whole experience was excellent. My room was very good, with the walk-in shower I had requested. The bed was extremely comfortable. Linen and towels were very good. Bed made each day and room tidied, which was a very nice touch. A good sized wardrobe and tea making facilities very good, and replenished each day. Breakfasts were amazing in the variety of food available. Evening meals were excellent, and as a vegetarian I was impressed with different options I had. All the staff were welcoming, very pleasant and helpful. I have to mention a gentleman named Max who was particularly welcoming, helpful and pleasant when getting the group drinks before our meal, and during the serving of the meals. The stay at Voco Oxford Spires ensured the holiday was a great success.
