Remont Oxford Hotel

Very disappointing. Did not match up to our expectations having stayed on several occasions over a decade ago when it really was a fresh and bespoke boutique B&B.

Should of known it wasn't going to be great when we arrived and the welcome mat was still Christmas. We went to our room (16). It smelt musty. It was dark even with the light on . The window only had curtains to close it didn't have e any privacy curtains and the the room was so hot. When the windows where open we had to close the curtains because someone was living in a caravan in the garden. I had to clean the toilet seat before I would use it. The bathroom was filthy. I complained to the manager and he said he would get it sorted. When we came back it hadn't been done. I went to the manager again and he said he had supervised the clean. It was dirty with broken tiles cobwebs in the corners. One morning we could get breakfast because all the tables where full. Even the cups where dirty the tin the tea bags were in was greasy and dirty. Another guest was complaining about there dirt room (29). I say stay away. I refused to use the shower it was so dirty.

Great value for money. Bus stop 2 minutes walk away. Great breakfast. We had room 10. The shaver socket did not work. Sink and shower need some drain unblocker.poured down their plug holes. The toilet would benefit from some bleach left in it for a while. Toilet difficult to flush. I am only mentioning these issues as they are easy fixes.
