Very good location, an easy walk to Blenheim Palace and to see the historical old church and to generally enjoy strolling around Woodstock. An easy bus trip to Oxford. The hotel is very nice. Our room on the top floor overlooked the rooftops. It was a bit of a hike up the stairs, particularly if you have luggage....( We don't, thankfully! There is no lift) . The restaurant was very good. Lovely staff and we enjoyed the tasty risotto. Breakfasts were very good. The vegetarian sauceages are the best we've ever tasted. The only criticism would be the rooms are a little pricey for the area. A lovely hotel, not luxury.

Wow! what a delicious lunch! My friend and I wanted to see what we thought of the new Set Lunch at the Feathers Avery . Delicious food, excellent service, and until the weather changes, a chance to sit outside.

Had the set menu lunch today. Would highly recommend 👌. Good service and the food was outstanding. The cold watercress soup was a particular highlight.
