Moness House Hotel

We are a family of 14 and decided to hire 3 lodges for 4 nights at Moness Resort so we could enjoy a family gathering. We had a lovely time in a perfect location. The lodges were ideal for our requirements though perhaps a little in need of upgrading but everything worked as it should and the beds were very comfortable. We had no trouble at all in finding activities to suit the youngsters whose ages range from 12 months to 19 years. The swimming pool was very popular, as was the pool table. So many beautiful locations to visit in neighbouring towns and villages. I would thoroughly recommend Moness as an excellent location for a family holiday.

Beautiful room and bathroom, excellent choice of cooked breakfast served at the table and buffet starter breakfast, fantastic spa pool, whirlpool, steam room and sauna. Dog bowls provided, towel for dog and treats.

We booked this resort as dog friendly. Lived up to it's name... Our dog was welcomed everywhere... reception, bar and restaurant. We understand dog friendly can also bring some issues especially when it comes to accommodation. On arrival at our masionette we were greeted by a very badly stained stair carpet 🫣 which continued to the upper floor living area and kitchenette. Not sure what had caused this. Suggestion.... Get rid of the carpets and have the same hard flooring throughout as the ground floor. Or replace the tired carpets.... please.
