A lovely late 19th-century manor house with beautiful communal areas (lounge, dining room, tea and coffee available all day). A very pretty, elegantly decorated bedroom and a magnificent bathroom. Excellent English breakfast. Plenty of parking on the premises.

Amazing. Possibly the best scrambled eggs i have had. We'll equipped and decent room. We stayed in room 10 for several nights-it was located on ground floor near the car park which is ideal for our heavy luggage. Selection of herbal teas in the room and very addictive biscuits. Windows had one way privacy glass which did help with the Scottish heatwave. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Wellwood manor although I would recommend getting a taxi there if you’re lugging a large suitcase up the road and driveway. The accomodation is immaculate. Their attention to keeping such a beautiful building clean and in peak condition is commendable . Sam was a great host, breakfast was lovely , the dining room gorgeous looking out onto the upper garden . Would highly recommend .
