The Anvil Lodge

Good location for walking around Shifnal. There’s parking for residents. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. The shower was very good, with plenty of hot water and shower gel available. The bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Easy walking distance to local restaurants and pubs.

We stayed at the anvil lodge to go to a family party the lodge is very welcoming clean and spacious Mike and Julie were very attentive to us as guests we had a great nights sleep the beds were really comfortable , we had an assortment of drinks available with bottles a of water and biscuits The breakfast was delicious with fruit juices assortment of fresh fruits cereals and a fabulous cooked breakfast This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the anvil lodge and I’m sure it won’t be the last

I recently visited Shifnal, with my wife and daughter, we had originally planned accommodation, round the corner from The Anvil Lodge, however this turned out to be a scam, we were in dire straits, with nowhere to stay. After visiting The Anvil Pub, landlady, thought about her friends who owned the Anvil Lodge next door. Mick (Proprietor) responded, and requested we pop round for a chat. Mick received us with open arms, very concerned, empathetic about or circumstances, and went the extra mile to accommodate us, a knight in shining armour. The room was superb, we all slept very well. Judy, Mick's wife, was a excellent host at breakfast. You could see that there was years of experience of looking after their clients, at the highest level. Lovely people.
