Mercure Albrighton Hall Hotel And Spa

Lovely hotel. Clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere. Children loved the swimming pool and spa. Rooms were very spacious and well equipped. Food was lovely and there was plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend

This is a honest opinion at 1st looks really nice ! Got there a bit earlier but had a drink at the bar witch we thought was a bit pricey more like London prices! Settled in they gave us witch I think was a family room number 30 nice big room need a lick of paint the shower screen needs replacing and the sink waste needs to be fixed as it is blocked ! So we went for a swim with h is very nice ! Then got changed for dinner to be honest don't think it was a chef maybe a cook I my opinion it was not Al cart ! There was a nice pianist playing when we came out of dinner witch was a nice touch! Bed was nice & comfortable. Got up for breakfast witch was buffa breakfast witch was better than dinner if I'm honest would I stay again yes if things were sorted ! 7/10

Stayed overnight to visit Shrewsbury en route from the South-east to Llanbedrog, Llyn Peninsular. An Excellent choice for a mid-point stop. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Room was appropriate for the price. Fire alarm was well executed and quickly resolved. A pre-breakfast swim before getting on the road again was most welcome. The B4396 & B4391 from here to Bala Lake is one of the most beautiful drives in the UK.
