We paid around £300 for two nights and unfortunately didn't feel the experience reflected the price.
Our first room was on the main corridor to the bar/restaurant, so we were woken by loud voices and constantly slamming doors. The staff were absolutely lovely and moved us without making us feel awkward, although the second night was still disturbed by doors slamming.
We'd also paid extra for a golf-course view, but weren't aware there was a wedding taking place directly outside both rooms. The music continued until midnight and, as the rooms were extremely hot, we had the choice of keeping the window closed or making the noise even louder. The tiny USB fan provided didn't really help.
Breakfast was also disappointing at £18 each for a fairly basic breakfast that wasn't what we'd ordered.
The staff were genuinely fantastic, friendly and helpful throughout, and I really can't fault them. Had the stay been considerably cheaper, these issues probably wouldn't have bothered us as much, but at £300 for two nights we expected more.
