We stayed one night at this property, passing through to visit Bath. Nestled under an old bridge with a former mill, it is a simple property, a little run-down, but the staff is very helpful. Our room is small, quite minimal, but in the end, everything was okay. Breakfast in line with the rest. Parking is necessary and for a fee. The restaurant is decent.

Unwelcome greetings on arrival. Rooms very small, run down, need full overhaul. Mould on doors, windows, cobwebs, wardrobe door handle broken. Sat on toilet seat nearly fell on floor as not attached. Basic breakfast. Outside and building very run down. Could be made to look amazing in the area it is. Not many staff members, actually only saw 2. Both looked fed up. Will not be going back.

Arrived late in the evening and approached the annexe to my allocated room to find a male indecently exposing himself at the door of his room. As a lone female I was extremely upset and immediately complained to the manager who advised he would ask him to close his door. The make them opened his curtains so coujd be seen anyway. The manager completely invalidated my anxiety as a lone female staying next door but one to this man. I asked to be moved in to the main building where I could feel safe but the staff said they were unable to accommodate this. I emailed the manger the next day as advised by staff and received a very poor response to my horrendous experience . He did not even bother to respond to the subsequent email I sent . Very poor customer service on the part of both male members of staff . The female staff were more understanding .
