We booked this two-day stay through Secret Escapes on a whim. Our room was Room 5 and this was a grand room with views over the front of the Manor and a deer park. The room was equipped with fans and a TV but there was no remote for the TV. We asked reception for a remote several times, first the wrong remote was delivered then a correct one was delivered. The TV still didn't work because it wasn't receiving a signal. After several more trips to reception it finally became clear that no-one was going to rectify the problem. An offer of a smaller room on the second floor with a working TV was rejected by us. Just a shame that they couldn't be bothered to get a tv/aerial engineer to sort out the problem with the tv. We could have taken our Fire stick if we had known and perhaps the hotel should keep a few on standbye. Our evening meal was lovely, in lovely surroundings as were our breakfasts. We were entertained by the deer in the deer park and the farmer cutting his grass until dusk.

A wonderful few days in a special hotel lovely friendly staff and perfect location. The outside swimming pool was a bonus in the hot weather!

Extremely disorganized, unfriendly. Here, the employees are obviously kings, but never the guests. Attention for electric car drivers: The charging station never worked for 3 days, even though constant repairs were promised. The kitchen is suitable for strong stomachs (1 day outage due to Burley kitchen). A pity for the beautiful facility.
