Great family run hotel, highly recommended. My wife and I booked a room for two nights and had a great stay. There is plenty of free on site car parking, everyone was very welcoming and pleasant and the bar was busy with locals as well as hotel guests on both Friday and Saturday night (which I think is always a good sign) We had room number 7, which is a large room and has a huge comfortable bed and a good shower in the en suite, with a lovely view over the village green.

This hotel is a real gem. Lovely attentive staff who really enjoy their work and gave us great service. Our dog friendly room was extremely comfortable. Toby ,our dog, was in seventh heaven as there was a river near by which kept him happy and tired him out, we also found a lovely walk. Breakfast was so filling we both skipped lunch and the evening meal was equally filling from a multi choice menu. Exford is a quiet village with a few great shops. We may return one day.
