Yallands Farmhouse

Gorgeous old historical building. Chris and Karen were great hosts: very hardworking and attentive. We really appreciated Chris taking the time to show us around the house and telling us the history.

I stayed here last week with my daughter, whilst visiting relatives in Taunton. Having stayed previously in 2020, upon entering I was greeted by Chris the host, who remembered me from all those years ago! The room was beautifully rustic and incredibly comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep. The following morning we had a delicious breakfast (I opted for the Full English, whilst my daughter sampled the selection of cereals). The cooked breakfast was piping hot and very tasty. I couldn't resist Chris' homemade marmalade on toast which is one of the many homely touches that makes this place so charming and homely. Overall, a fantastic stay at Yallands which really feels like a home from home, and made all the more special by Chris & Karen who do everything they can to make your stay a memorable experience. I'm looking forward to returning again soon!

3 of us stayed overnight in the Chestnut and Wisteria rooms. Karen and Chris were very welcoming hosts, and ensured our requirements were catered for. The breakfast was spot on, especially Chris's marmalade. My only negative, which is a personal thing, was that the mattress was too soft for my liking. Otherwise, an excellent stay and would certainly recommend Yallands.
