Double-Gate Farm

The most amazing cream teas, we have been here on many occasions but I have never thought to leave a review. Staff are so friendly and attentive and helpful. The food has always been amazing.

Yet another lovely visit! This was our 3rd time at Double Gates, our 2nd afternoon tea, having al had a brunch in the snug. It is our go to for family meets as although off the beaten track the logistics make it a convenient mid point. Food is fab Service is superb. Setting is Stunning Thanks Debbie and team (again)

What a fantastic place. staff so friendly a family run business i believe . They were so busy lots of afternoon teas . there was plenty of seating inside and out some along side the river on a balcony like area . i ordered a ploughman’s as had my heart set on it for after our cycle . my husband had cheesey chips . and both had milkshakes . my in laws went for a bowl of chips also with a pot of tea . All very nice . They were so friendly couldn’t do enough for us. so despite other reviews i give them a 10 out of 10. we will most definatly return . There are several areas to sit in the garden a little shed a shepards but. and a little forest pit area . what a very clever set up. i believe you can also stay here too . plenty of cycle stands too. perfect place to stop on your cycle .
