EXPRESS BY HOLIDAY INN

We had one night in a Premier Plus room and were very impressed by the quality. The room was compact but spotlessly clean and well appointed. It was great having air-conditioning and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in and check-out was seamless. The one slight drawback was the shower was slightly slow draining. Overall it was a great stay and we would high recommend this Premier Inn.

Nice hotel. Very noisy as it is located near a busy junction on a main road leading in and out of Ayr especially at the front of the hotel. Staff very pleasant and courteous. Parking can be a nightmare in the evenings as the hotel is pretty full most of the time. Disabled slots are few and far between. The smoking area is not used most of the time and smokers step just outside the main door to smoke which is not pleasant if you have a room above or in that area. As a consequence the main entrance is littered with cigarette ends and is not kept clean. Not a very good first impression. Staff also smoke here.

I usually book a Premier Inn wherever I go that's not near family, and this one is the best I've stayed in. It was very welcoming, the staff were unbelievably brilliant, the food was good and reasonably priced and the room was just top notch. I don't think I'll ever beat this but if you're in the area, make sure you stay here.
