First time for us, went for lunch, well impressed by the staff, very attentive and courteous. The food was excellent, the service too, definitely return at some point soon for dinner.

We were staying near by to Cumnock on holiday and called into the 1906 restaurant on the Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table. We found the food was very good, reasonably priced and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We liked it so much we went back on the Sunday evening.

Not 3 star. We stayed in room 15. Could hear the bottles being emptied in to the outside bin. Also a sound like a kitchen extractor fan. If we opened the window we had cooking smells from the kitchen. If your offered room 15 ask for a different room. It was a hot night and we couldn't have the window open amd the fan in the room had so much dust on it i was worried if I left on it might cause a fire.
