Buckingham's Hotel

Beware of tastecard. They have lost so many of the restaurants that they used to have but still haven't removed them from their website. Shocking customer service from them whenever you try to contact them. Was a time when restaurants welcomed you as a customer but now they really seem to begrudge you being there.

Nice little place to stop for the night. Just close enough to the town centre with parking and decent b&b. Excellent breakfast, comfortable rooms all enable one to forget that you are in a grey rainy Chesterfield.

Within walking distance to the town, plenty of restaurants around the area. However we have booked special dinner for two in the hotel. The steak is juicy and desserts is lovely. The whole experience is well worth it. We stayed at the room on the top with lovely view of the sunset at one side and sun rise at the other window.
