Review from our wedding at Tankersley Manor Hotel, July 2026. We honestly cannot recommend Jess and the Wedding team at Tankersley Manor Hotel highly enough. From the very first moment we met Jess, she put us completely at ease and made us feel confident that our wedding was in the best possible hands. She listened intently to everything we wanted to create and took the time to understand us as a couple, which made the whole experience feel incredibly personal and special. We visited 16 different venues during our search, and without a doubt, Jess was the standout coordinator of them all. Her experience was immediately evident, but what truly set her apart was the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. She was so personable, approachable, and genuinely invested in making our day exactly what we had envisioned. Nothing was ever too much trouble. No question was too small, no request was too much. Throughout the planning process, she made everything feel seamless and stress-free, which is priceless when planning a wedding. It actually felt like we had a friend organising our wedding because that is how we got to see her, Jess is an absolute credit to Tankersley Manor Hotel and to the wedding industry. Her attention to detail, her presence, and exceptional care are second to none. We feel incredibly lucky to have had her support, and we would recommend her to any couple looking for a coordinator who will go above and beyond to make their wedding day perfect! Special thanks for getting me in my dress when I was running late haha!! A huge shout out to Luke also, who again, was absolutely fantastic, he listened to everything we wanted and already knew so much about us and our day as he works closely with Jess, his assistance on the day was fantastic- he even ran back to my room to bring me my make up and top me up - again it was like having a friend assist with your wedding. All the staff at Tankersley are phenomenal - genuinely!!! Everyone was happy, smiling, personable and couldn't do enough for us! Some of the team and also fairly young - their maturity was unreal! Honestly - were a couple with very high expectations, we often get told this haha!! And the whole team here surpassed our expectations- thank you for creating our dream day! This was an ideal venue for our wedding, with it being a dog friendly atmosphere and friendly staff it made the day go smoothly. There were a quite a few serious hiccups during the day and following day which ranged from the staff forgetting the plans, the rooms not being ready for wedding prep, unclean floors and food allover expecting my wife to walk her dress through. The receptionist having an attitude problem and unwilling to do anything. Unfortunately someone stole a few of our things which was being kept overnight for us to pick up. However the receptionist refused to check or ask just said"nothing in the fridge". We had also had our box left for the wedding cake to be put in. This hadn't been used, instead it was in an unstable paper box that broke apart whilst trying to hold the cake almost dropping it on the floor. Not what i wanted on my wedding day and day after. There were some nice moments the waitresses and bar staff and some of the cleaners were very helpful. Unfortunately though as soon as Hollie arrived everything ran smoothly which shouldn't have to rely on coordinators to make someone do their job. From Jess pre organising the day to Hollie managing everything on the day. I couldn't thank them enough for the emotional support to resolving sudden changes to an evening guest arriving to the ceremony. The stress started to chip away from me and I thank Hollie the chefs, and the catering staff for this.

We had our wedding at Tankersley Manor on 4th July, and it was an absolutely unforgettable day. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment. The venue itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds and elegant spaces that made the perfect backdrop for both our ceremony and photographs. The staff were friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional, ensuring both we and our guests felt well looked after throughout the day. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and every detail was handled with care. Many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was and how seamlessly everything was organised. We can't thank everyone at Tankersley Manor enough for helping us create such special memories. If you're looking for a beautiful wedding venue with an amazing team, we would highly recommend Tankersley Manor. Thank you for making our wedding day so perfect!
