Beautiful hotel. They accommodate my boyfriends plans of flowers, and got an outside company to come in with a stunning sign of “will you marry me” The bar staff I didn’t catch his name but he was amazing and looked after us and got the manager involved to help us celebrate our engagement. The breakfast was ok I wasn’t a fan on the sausage and the bacon was really dry but the coffee was good and the free glass of Prosecco was a bonus. We had breakfast in bed however it wasn’t in bed it was just brought on one big Tray. I thought we’d get a tray each so we could actually have breakfast in bed but yeah did work out like that. I would recommend going down to breakfast as there is a lot more selection that what’s on offer on the piece of paper to have it in your room. Had a massage with Siobhan which was lovely and as a hotel guest got 20% off too. We stayed in the Gresham room which is outside the hotel, was lovely to have a decent coffee machine, biscuits and canned water in the room. Very spacious bathroom with his and hers sink. Location is perfect lovely walk around the green and pretty much in town. Lovely stay and would stay again.

The service was amazing! Jeff was at breakfast every morning and they all greet you with a smile. Jeff memorized my order after just 4 days. I really appreciate everything that Gonville Hotel did to ensure my comfort.

We loved our wonderful 3-night stay at this exceptional hotel! The location, the staff, the room were all wonderful! The complimentary Bentley excursion around Cambridge with Mike, the most knowledgeable driver ever, was the highlight of our UK trip. The breakfast was spectacular, especially with Daniela, our hostess! We also loved the complimentary bicycles offered by the hotel! Thank you to all the staff at the Gonville Hotel for making our stay so enjoyable!
