Best Western Plus Mosborough Hall

We wasn’t satisfied with the quality of the afternoon tea. I think they certainly need to work on the freshness and quality of what there offering for the price they are charging. A polite way to put it that our sandwiches were served stale, dry and like cardboard. We are feeling Very disappointed with it. Overall it’s beautiful place its self but the standard of the afternoon tea was poor. They do need to work on improving afternoon tea to match the price or consider serving it fresh. Angela on the other hand works really hard, she lovely lady, doesn't forget you as she always asks us if we want anymore tea.

I would like to just say how AMAZING the service was in the breakfast are this morning. Angela was extremely helpful, polite and very professional. There was an unfortunate couple behind us who was for some reason unhappy about the wait for the breakfast (which was 15 mins max) and Angela handled it like a champ! She couldn’t have apologised enough, aswell as the other lady working this morning (we didn’t catch her name). It’s not often you see such positive and hard working staff this early on a Saturday morning, while also dealing with some difficult customers. We also raised this positive feedback to your management in the bar area before we left. Thank you Angela for being so accommodating and friendly!

I have stayed here numerous times over the years but mylatest trip wasn't good. I checked in with the new screen system and was then told I had been upgraded. Room I got was at the top of some very narrow stairs and wasn't impressed with the room. The bar areb a hardly had any draft beers on offer as they had run out. My colleague and I decided not to eat there and went to another establishment nearby. When checking out the next morning there wasn't anyone around to raise my concerns and therefore left me very disappointed. I will consider other hotels in the area on my next visit. The standard has dropped as this used to be a very nice hotel.
