Cambridge Orchard Park

The hotel looked nice and clean. Unfortunately, the room was far too hot to be able to sleep in and so we ended up travelling back home. There were 2 fans in the room but it was like being in front of a hot hairdryer.

Yet again this friendly bugget hotel passed with flying colours nothing is to much trouble from food and drinks after midnight to breakfast thats unlimited the staff are friendly and approachable as always the rooms are comfey and clean still got a few issues with the heating but in all yet again a pleasent stay

A large fairly modern budget hotel about 10 minutes Uber ride away from the city centre. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. The standard rooms with double/king bed are really very small so okay perhaps if travelling alone or on business, but really too small for a couple with lots of luggage. Worse still though for a modern hotel, is that THERE IS NO AIR CON IN THE BEDROOMS! The hotel was providing fans for rooms but really they simply moved around already hot air. Also, note one side of the hotel fronts onto a major dual carriageway with heavy traffic 24 hrs a day. Our advice would be to book a room over looking the residential area , which is very quiet. Note, there are no nearby bars or eateries but the hotel bar and restaurant is bright, pleasant and reasonably priced with a simple menu.
