Hilton Sheffield (I)

Booked a room with 3 other athletes for the Fencing Closed Nationals back in April. Easy check-in process, clean rooms, friendly staff & the hotel pool (sauna!) provided good recovery. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Sandman Sheffield, we were able to check in earlier than expected by the very pleasant Emily & made to feel very welcome by her. We were given a room on the top floor overlooking the Quay which was fabulous, its a very modern hotel, lots of space, very comfortable big beds, iron/ironing board, hairdryer & plenty of tea/coffee, beautiful bathroom & room was spotless. Wouldn't hesitate to stay when we next visit Sheffield. Thank you

Checked in and checked out. Booked a “suite” but no air con and the room was unbelievably hot. An offer of a fan was just not good enough, particularly when you are paying £150/night. They couldn’t offer any other alternative so I left and found another hotel for cheaper and with AC. I think their website should be clearer that there is NO air con in all rooms, and while you are at the website remove reference to late night food options - which basically is a selection of crisps. All in all very disappointed and definitely better options in Sheffield.
