Holiday Inn Express Cambridge

I regularly bring my elderly father to this Holiday Inn near Cambridge to meet friends who drive there from Norfolk. We are always impressed by how accessible it is (two of our party are in wheelchairs) and are often treated with kindness and warmth by the staff. Special mention from this visit to Cathie Stableford who looked after us beautifully with great service and a welcoming smile. The food is always very good - particularly the salads and chips - and they make great coffee. Many thanks to all. See you next time.

Terrible - no air! It’s 87 in the room and AC cool in lobby Unreal! Hot as Haiti

Would not recommend. False advertising of having air con. I purposely booked this hotel due to having parking facilities, air con, breakfast included and walking distance to city centre. Walk to city centre was awful, felt unsafe. Parking was fine at a charge of £6. Air con was non existent. There was a desk fan in the room which was of no help as it just circulated the ridiculously warm air round the room. I have never experienced a hotel room so uncomfortably warm! Lots of noise from 6am onwards of room doors opening/ closing, of which didn’t disturb us on this occasion as it was too warm to sleep. Checked out just after 7am without having breakfast as just wanted to leave and have fresh air after the unbearable room conditions. Would not recommend.
