The reviews for this hotel were dreadful and we really wondered what we were coming to. However we have not found that to be the case. The gentleman on reception was really welcoming. He couldn't have been more helpful. He did everything he could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Yes it was a little tired but the bedding and towels are beautifully clean. Sometimes people want pure luxury at budget prices. We are very satisfied with our stay and would cone again. Thankyou

We booked this hotel because it appeared to serve our purpose. We needed somewhere to stay near the motorway and as we were arriving late (10pm) and leaving early (7.30am) a cheap room would suffice. On the plus side, the bed was large, clean and very comfortable. There was plenty hot water and large, soft, clean towels. The room was a good size and was quiet. The staff who checked us both in and out were very helpful and friendly. The negatives are that the hotel is very dated (as expected from the reviews) and the room was very dusty with cobwebs everywhere - the extent of which was not expected. It’s as if they clean the bedding and bathroom but nothing else. Had we arrived earlier we would have asked for a cleaner room, but as we just wanted to sleep we climbed in to bed and had a very comfortable restful sleep.
