I want to write a review about this hotel but need to go back a few years we used to use this hotel every year but when checking in was told we they had no room for us so put us in another AWFUL hotel 10 minutes walk away after that we never went back. Now we decided to give them another try booking through booking .com for 2 weeks ago stupidly I clicked on the wrong date paid for it then realised straight away I had done wrong called the hotel asking if I could alter the date paying extra if it was needed was told as I had booked through a third a third party they wouldn’t change the date for me, I was to call booking.com they wouldn’t change it either. I will not bore you with the list of emails or phone calls I made to try and fix it. I lost my money could’nt even give it away as you needed proof when checking in. In fairness the receptionist did talk to the manager to see if we could rebook but NO. They are will to let Booking .co take bookings for them, but errors do happen. I am a o a p but people do make mistakes. I will never book this hotel again or use Booking.com. And I will double check dates. We are going to Stirling soon but will stay at the Highland Gate a much nicer hotel. This will go on trustpilot to warn other.
