Royal

My wife and I love an afternoon tea and have had some in pretty special places. The Royal Hotel didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is bright and fresh with plush seats, a mixture of tables and some booths. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, particularly the young waitress who served us. The food was excellent quality with one of the best home made scones I’ve had. There were plenty of sandwiches and cakes, the bread was very fresh and soft. We were offered top ups of hot drinks but there were plenty to start with so we didn’t bother. I have a big appetite but left there stuffed and looking forward to our next visit. Well worth the drive from Edinburgh.

Attended a conference last night car broke down had to wait for rac. Molly a staff member brought us in to wait and gave us tea and somewhere warm to sit while we waited. Amazing lady couldn’t do enough to help me thank you so much molly

Stayed here for a couple of nights as i was working, normal stay in the Dunblane Hydro but its got very expensive as I don't use any of the facilities, booked the Royal at short notice, good location, very grand downstairs with a good restaurant which i used both nights, staff all very friendly and a decent car park Rooms.. very tired, said they had started an update which they need, good enough for what i wanted but its not luxury, i needed to run about in my shower to get wet That's the negative, overall a good stay, excellent value, good breakfast and DBB deal, would use again
