Best Western Priory Hotel

I was at at wedding and was waiting at the bar waiting to be served, one of the bar staff shouted at me did you whistle at me. I said I didnt as I did not and was ignored. I brought this up with another member of staff after and didn't seemed bothered. So all I can say avoid the lady who serves with the short brown hair as they make false accusations. Having said this the blonde lady with long hair was excellent, even so this made feel awkward ordering drinks. I hope the lady with the short brown hair can be trained on how to speak with customers in future.

Two night stay whilst visiting the area. We had a garden room which was very quiet so good nights sleep. Good value with a free breakfast on the deal. No frills place which could really do with some investment, new bathrooms especially, just needs some TLC and maybe few small changes. Overall suited our needs and budget! All staff we met were friendly and helpful.

My friend treat me to a carvery meal for my birthday, I have to say that sadly it was very poor, the only hot vegatable was the roast potatoes, the rest of the food was luke warm, peas and sweetcorn had actually dried out quite a lot, even the meat was luke warm as were the plates, so before it was half eaten, everything was cold and I didn't eat it all, I was given 2 Gf Yorkshire puds which were doughy and so cold I thought they'd come straight from a fridge, dessert!, apart from ice cream, my only choice was chocolate brownie, out came to obviously shop bought brownies, luke warm again, I felt so sorry for my friend having paid in advance for a very below average meal, it's safe to say we will Not be returning.
