Really lovely place to stay. Comfortable clean room - I had an en-suite small double on the top floor, and good communications with Martin when my card payment was refused! He easily sorted it out. Easy Airbnb-type access to the building and to my room. I would recommend this place to stay, and I will stay here again.

Booked at very short notice because we needed to be close to Ipswich hospital whilst our Mother was receiving end of life care. Lattice Lodge had good reviews so we booked it. Martin called us back straightaway to check a few details, he upgraded our bedroom and explained how simple it was to get self access to our room. Lattice lodge is a very clean, traditional and homely guest house and has everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, lovely warm shower, tea/coffee making facilities. Although we didn’t make use of them there was a lovely lounge, modern kitchen, seating area and conservatory that we could have shared with other guests had we wished to. We were very grateful to find the Lattice Lodge to lay our weary heads whilst going through a very sad and exhausting time.

My first visit to Ipswich, and staying at Lattice Lodge was definitely one of the highlights! The lodge is bright, homely, spotlessly clean, and wonderfully quiet. Communication with the management was excellent throughout, and being able to charge my car on the premises was an added bonus. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality and for making my stay so comfortable. I’ll definitely be back and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Lattice Lodge to anyone visiting Ipswich!
