Its truly a great place,And more than anything Karen and Colin were very accommodating and very welcoming. Loved the shower place. Old decor, Spotless clean very secure.Great place for couples, solo, and its 6 mins walk from Horley train station. Best part is they have a awesome dog call Monty. He is very very friendly.

Vulcan Lodge Guest House is conveniently located within walking distance from Horley station. Karen and Colin are very welcoming and the accomodation is well proportioned and comfortable. Karen kindly organised an airport transfer which took less than 10 minutes. Much nicer to stay here than in one of the big airport hotels. WiFi was fast and worked in the bedrooms and the continental breakfast was generous.

Karen and Colin made us feel so at home from the very moment we arrived. Such a warm welcome from the both of them and, especially Monty their beautiful dog! Room was spacious and immaculate with tea and coffee available and a well appointed shower room. Nothing was too much trouble and, even though we were to be picked up at 3am, we were still able to help ourselves to tea, toast and a light breakfast before leaving. Our car was safely parked and ready for us on our return. Cannot recommend highly enough if you need somewhere to stay close to Gatwick. A real little gem, so glad we found it.
