Thyme at the Tavern

Very unwelcoming, cold atmosphere, staff seem vague. Toilet door in ladies is broken and you have to wriggle it get it locked. Front door doesn’t close!! Every time someone came in some one had to get up to close the door!! Manager walks around with a face like a slapped backside!

We popped in for a breakfast this morning and were met with a delightful team who could not do more to help. The breakfast was the best we have had in a long time - high quality ingredients, well presented and there was enough that we felt comfortably full afterwards! Could not recommend enough

I was very disappointed as I was swayed by the previous reviews. It was at lunch time 2 of the Specials were not available both ribs. The chilli con carne did not come with the accompaniments stated on the menu. I was very dry with very little flavour. The fish and chips were fine. It was also very cold in the pub. We were the only customers. At the end of the meal, as we were celebrating a birthday we were given complimentary liquories. We would not return and would not recommend.
